Frans Lanting est considéré comme l’un des plus prestigieux photographes contemporains de nature. Photographe de la « National Geographic», éditorialiste de « Outdoor Photographer », membre du « National Council of the World Wildlife Fund » et de la « Fondation Board of the University of  California Santa Cruz », Frans Lanting a reçu la Médaille de Chevalier de l’Ordre Royale de l’Arche d’Or par le Prince Berbhard, la plus haute distinction aux Pays-Bas. Son travail a aussi reçu le prix « The Photographer of The Year» de la BBC et le compagnonnage de la «Royal Photographic Society» de Londres.

Frans Lanting is considered one of the most prestigious nature contemporary photographers. National Geographic photographer, “Outdoor Photographer” columnist, “National Council of the World Wildlife Fund” member, Frans Lanting was inducted by H.R.H. Prince Bernhard as a Knight in the Royal Order of the Golden Ark, the Netherlands' highest conservation honour. He was named BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year and honoured as a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society in London.
